Although not entirely finished, the new shelves are in and some new ranges of stock are now on display. Presently we stock oil burners and candle holders from Menu as well as a wide range of candles with fantastic fragerances from Stoneglow, Torc, Touchfire, LilyFlame & Shearer. Our Personalised candle ranges are also still available in the shop and you can either pop in to place an order or do it online and select Store pickup to collect it from the shop when its ready.

We are presently deciding on what other products to stock and apart from a couple of organic soya based candle ranges we may also be getting in a range of cool and groovy glass tea light and candle holders which are reeeeeeeeeeally nice.

So if you are in the area then please pop on in to see what we have done with the place – also make sure you take the time to visit the House as they National trust have done a wonderful job .

The process is quite straightforward and involves downloading one of our Photo shop/Elements templates from the Template Library and then using it to create your design. There are a variety of different size templates available, each relating to a particular size candle and we also offer both front/back templates as well as full wrap around.

So anyone with the ability to create a design in Adobe Photo shop or Adobe elements can create their own candle for a wedding, birthday, banquet, business function or other special occasion. We print the design as your provide it so it can be in full colour, black and white or sepia.

Here at Celtmyth we have a number of exciting developments that are going to take place this year. The biggest is the transfer of Tredegar House and the associated Craft Workshops to the National Trust who have taken a 50 year lease on estate. Visitor numbers are expected to treble in the summer because of this so we are revamping the retail side of the shop in preparation. So if you do visit the wonderful Tredegar House please pop on over to the Craft workshops and have a look around.

A large proportion of last year was spent updating the personalised candles designs to make them compatible with our new printing system and as a result a lot of work went into the website as all the designs had to be changed. Thankfully that is now complete and so the next stage is to add some new categories such as valentine candles as well as more personalised candle designs for existing categories. New designs on the drawing board as we speak include stained glass, angels, floral shapes which will be rolled out through the year.

We are also going to be including a gift boxed option on all our candles which includes not only pillar candles but tapers as well. For those of you who have an artistic streak we will also be creating a design-your-own-candle section on the website which will provide you with the necessary candle sizing templates to allow you download and then use in either Photo shop or Elements to create your own design. You then just upload your artwork with your order and we then put it onto a candle for you.

So all in all its going to be an interesting and very busy time.
