It’s taken longer than expected but our New Design your Own Candle service is now available on the website.

The process is quite straightforward and involves downloading one of our Photo shop/Elements templates from the Template Library and then using it to create your design. There are a variety of different size templates available, each relating to a particular size candle and we also offer both front/back templates as well as full wrap around.

So anyone with the ability to create a design in Adobe Photo shop or Adobe elements can create their own candle for a wedding, birthday, banquet, business function or other special occasion. We print the design as your provide it so it can be in full colour, black and white or sepia.

The year ahead with Celtmyth

First of all I would like to wish you a Happy New year, may it bring happiness and opportunity.

Here at Celtmyth we have a number of exciting developments that are going to take place this year. The biggest is the transfer of Tredegar House and the associated Craft Workshops to the National Trust who have taken a 50 year lease on estate. Visitor numbers are expected to treble in the summer because of this so we are revamping the retail side of the shop in preparation. So if you do visit the wonderful Tredegar House please pop on over to the Craft workshops and have a look around.

A large proportion of last year was spent updating the personalised candles designs to make them compatible with our new printing system and as a result a lot of work went into the website as all the designs had to be changed. Thankfully that is now complete and so the next stage is to add some new categories such as valentine candles as well as more personalised candle designs for existing categories. New designs on the drawing board as we speak include stained glass, angels, floral shapes which will be rolled out through the year.

We are also going to be including a gift boxed option on all our candles which includes not only pillar candles but tapers as well. For those of you who have an artistic streak we will also be creating a design-your-own-candle section on the website which will provide you with the necessary candle sizing templates to allow you download and then use in either Photo shop or Elements to create your own design. You then just upload your artwork with your order and we then put it onto a candle for you.

So all in all its going to be an interesting and very busy time.

Celtmyth has a wide selection of candle designs in a large number of occasion categories but ever so often we are contacted by a customer who would like a customised candle design created. Now generally customised candles fall into two categories, the first is basically a customised add-on to one of our existing designs and to cater for these types of requests we have created a customised personalised candle section on the website.

In the New year we will be offering a fully customisable candle option whereby you will be able to download a template and create your own candle design. Once completed you will then be able to upload it on the website when you place your order.

Another new adaptation of on one of our original designs this May the Road verse and can be personalised with a name or names and two lines of Sub Text (both optional) above it, each text field can be up to 32 characters long including spaces.

The enitre verse is a follows Verse: “May the road rise to meet you, May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine upon your face and the rain fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand.”

This design is available in 8 different colours with the added options of 12 different decoration options such as celtic crosses, flourishes, hearts and several others.

Candle Colour Options are Ivory or White both available in either 21 x 7cm or 21 x 8cm candle sizes.

This personalised wedding favour candle incorporates a I Do text design with Love You engraved rings which can be printed with the couples names and two lines of Sub Text (both optional) below it, each text field can be up to 32 characters long including spaces.
